June 23, 2026, (Inside AI) — Meta launched a new line of smart glasses on Tuesday, starting at $299, in a deepening partnership with eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica. The Meta Glasses collection includes three frame styles, upgraded AI capabilities, and a celebrity collaboration with Kylie Jenner.
The glasses ship with Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, the first model from the newly formed Meta Superintelligence Labs. This marks the first hardware release featuring the multimodal assistant, which Meta says better understands surroundings and offers contextual help.
The launch signals Meta’s ambition to embed AI deeper into everyday wearables. By fusing fashion with function, the company aims to normalize face-worn computing while gathering real-world data to refine its AI systems.
Designs, Specs, and the Kylie Factor
The lineup starts with the Meta Adventurer, a classic rectangular frame, and the Meta Fury for a bolder look. The standout is the Meta Glasses by Kylie, a slim oval frame inspired by Kylie Jenner’s personal style, marking her debut in wearable tech.

Colors include Classic Black, Racing Green, Merlot, and Sandstone, with clear, sun, polarized, and Transitions lens options. At launch, 26 style combinations are available. Prescription lenses are supported, and a new Rx Lens Swap program lets users get lenses fitted by any optician without voiding the warranty.
Hardware mirrors previous Meta glasses: open-ear speakers, a built-in camera for hands-free capture, and multiple microphones. Battery life exceeds eight hours on a single charge, with a foldable charging case adding up to 40 hours. A new charging stand works across multiple Meta eyewear products.
AI Muscle and Software Ecosystem
Meta AI powered by Muse Spark enables users to ask questions about what they see, get recommendations, manage schedules, and pull up information like sports scores or nearby restaurants via voice. The same AI is rolling out to existing Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta smart glasses in the United States and Canada.
New software features include Dynamic Photo, which captures multiple frames and suggests the best shot, and upcoming pedestrian navigation with turn-by-turn directions—no display needed. Live translation expands with 14 new languages, including Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, now supporting 20 languages total for real-time multilingual chats.
Availability starts today via Meta’s online store and retailers like LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Best Buy, and Amazon in select markets. However, Meta has not announced pricing or a launch date for India, leaving a key market waiting.
